Just Another James

Baby blue eyes story,
Tiny red lips Rembrandt,
Eyes blue without worry,
Keeping, inviting want.
Ain’t the most handsome man
Living like a layman?

Melting blue, oh, melting;
They’re all I ever see.
All because he’s craving
To find little Missy
Among the public’s love;
Things he wished he’d have.

James has the admirers,
James is the one winner;
Except for one loser.

He never loved himself.
Above humility.
He’s like an empty shelf.
Feels inferiority.
That’s who he is; he’s weak,
Making himself tragic.

Note: The poem is my own topic and not in response to any prompt.
