Though I’m in your handcuffs,
Chains sing round my ankles,
My steps music enough
In your tabernacle
Of interrogation;
Against your whole nation.

Though you walk free without chains,
Proud like a decent man
With clean records gained,
You’re married to the one,
Air blows fresh on your face,
You carry public grace

Here’s a life of no rules.
I have nothing to lose.
I am more free than you.

You obey and follow
In exchange for your good.
What did college bestow?
Use it on me, my dude.
I’ll be given nothing,
So I’ll do anything.
